More Americans bike to work

In the year 2000 about 90% of workers were driving to work. Now about 10 years later 60% of the workers are biking to work. This is helping our world and keeping it safe. People who bike to work are more men and young adults that don’t have children. This is because there are bike lanes in more places. The bike lanes keep the bicyclist more safe. Is there a possibility that women will start biking to work instead of driving?

Well Director Robert Kenner takes you behind the kitchen and into the “farm” where the meat and some vegtables are made with the documentary Food Inc.Kenner interviews farmers,CEOs,advocates,and others to show the audience why fast food id so cheap.This document makes me wonder does our nation really care about our health,or is it that they just want their money. They make fast food so cheap that minimum wage workers can afford that and being able to buy from the market. On top of that health care is so expensive that it makes fast food their first options,but that just causes for the person to have to buy more medication. This makes me think about what I really want to eat.
Fight between teacher and student

It all began because Mr. Black caught the student with a bag of marijuana, the student refuses to had the bag to Mr. Black and the student reacts with violence. Mr. Black tries to calm the student but putting him in a lock position. Students where able to record the incident,but the district will have to decide the if Mr.Black reacted the right way.

New iPhone?
Apple to Offer Cheaper iPhone 5C in Several Markets

Apple introduced the new iPhone 5c last year on September 12. Along they introduced the 5s. The 5c was made to pit many peoples budget, but many people still like the 5s better. This year they will be giving a new 5c that will be cheaper and smaller. They hope it will sell more than the older 5c because it was not much of a success.

We have been reading harlem renaissance poem in my English 11 class. As one of our assignment we had to write a personal reflection for a poem in our own words. When I began reading this poem I did not understand it. I had to read it for about 5 times and analysed each line. When I put all the lines together I understood that no matter what race you are you are worth a lot,and to not let people put you down.
Bike logo
I am still exploring Inkscape and I made this logo using the basic tools. I used circles squares and putting circles on top of each other to create some curves. The new thing that I used in this logo is the fill and stroke tool. I used this to create the red on the back of each letter.

I created these images using only the circle shape.To create the mouth and eyebrows I used the nodes tools to help curve them. My other image was to learn to blend colors. I duplicated my picture to create the sand.Finally for the light rays I crated a white rectangle and make it blend from white to transparent, and used the nodes tool to curve the square out.On my city image I used the same basic tools.I used the square,circle,blend,and the nodes tool.

I used gimp to change the shirt,eyes,and clear up her face.i began clearing her face using the clone too.I used the free select tool to go around her eyes and shirt and then color it in. I blended the color of her eyes and shirt to be able to look more realistic.
The city view
This image that I have credited is not completed yet. I used Inscape to do this project. The tools I mostly used is the square and circle to create a city view in the water.

Peace in Mexico?

The big question in 2012 was if the soon to be president, Enrique Peña Nieto, would be able to bring peace in Mexico by capturing the lord of the drug cartels as he promised.The past Saturday they finally captured Joaquin Guzman also known as “El Chapo”. So has the president done a good job by capturing him? Will El Chapo’s arrest stop the drug cartels and bring peace in Mexico? Now these are the question that people are asking themselves.The last one is it really El Chapo that they captured or is this all fake?
