In september 18,2013 Gale Holland wrote an article on how the poverty rate has been rising since 2007. Where is it rising the most you may ask, it is here in Los Angeles, California. Los Angeles has the highest poverty rate than Long Beach ,Santa Ana, or any other city in California. It has increased from 18.5% to 23% from 2007 to 2012!
